National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange Information Services Associate
Mobility International USA (MIUSA), a 22-year old nonprofit
organization that promotes international exchange and international development
opportunities for people with disabilities, seeks a qualified person for its
National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange (NCDE) Information Services
Associate position. Since 1995, the NCDE has provided services, resources and
technical assistance to international exchange programs on how to accommodate
participants with disabilities. The NCDE also provides information and referral
to individuals with disabilities interested in participating in international
study, work, research or volunteer opportunities overseas.
A full-time associate position is open to be filled by a person with excellent
detail-oriented administrative, communication and organizing skills that can
multi-task in an open office environment. An associate is expected to work independently
on his/her main responsibilities with review and input from team members. The
Information Services Associate’s main activities include updating and
inputting information into Access databases, and researching and providing written
responses to 5-10 inquiries from the public per week. In addition to the main
tasks, this person will also be expected to assist coordinators with projects
as needed.
Database entry, disability and international
exchange experience preferred. Position open until filled. Anticipated start
